Annual Bauer Woods Clean-up
The annual Bauer Woods Clean-up is scheduled for the weekend of October 10-12. The dumpsters will be delivered sometime on Friday, October 10 and picked up early on Monday, October 13. The dumpsters are only for members who paid their 2025 dues. As you put stuff into the dumpster, please make sure to place it as far back in the dumpster as possible. Please also keep the area around the dumpsters as neat as possible.
IMPORTANT: Please take this opportunity to make sure that the sidewalk in front of your house is fully clear, both horizontally and vertically. Per Washington County Community Development Code, Article V, Section 502-9.1(d), owners must always maintain landscaping next to sidewalks to prevent overgrowth so that pedestrians always have a safe and clear passage over the entire sidewalk. This is a good time to walk your sidewalk and trim shrubs or trees and use the dumpsters to dispose of this yard waste!
Fire Hydrants: Note that for homes with a fire hydrant located on their property, Oregon Fire Code requires that a 3 foot clear space be provided around the circumference of the fire hydrant. (OFC 507.5.5) If this applies to you, please ensure that this requirement is met.
